Yes, our Artbags are crafted with durability in mind. The Resin used is UV stable and will not yellow over time. To clean your Artbag a little water and a clean cloth or a feather duster! Resin is a sturdy material but will scratch if dragged. It is heavy so always hold it from below and the handle. This will ensure that your Artbag remains beautiful for years to come.
The timeframe for custom Artbags varies depending on the complexity of the design and our current workload. Generally, it takes between 4 to 6 weeks for smaller items and the large and extra-large can take up to 4 – 6 months from initial consultation to completion.
Yes, we offer repair services for Artbags that have experienced scratches or in certain circumstances where the handle has broken if dropped. In most cases we can fix the damage and will quote you for the repair. It is customer’s responsibility to insure and cover postage/shipping and repair costs. Please contact us with details about the damage, and we'll help accordingly.
Absolutely! We encourage clients to incorporate meaningful personal items into their Artbags to make them truly unique and sentimental. With 20 years of experience Debra and her team can incorporate almost anything. However, plushie toys don’t cast due to the air inside as when the air escapes into the resin it will create bubbles which spoil the look. There are many treatments we use to enable us to incorporate and protect your personal possessions. Please note that once cast you will not be able to remove them from the sculpture!
This depends on the size and how much space you would like around your objects. The sculpture could become dark with too many larger items but Debra will advise you on all of the necessary details.
