Commission your Artbag using all your favourite objects, to create the most personal showstopping sculpture.

I worked extremely closely with Belinda who had seen my studio on the high street and came in to see me one day saying that she wanted to create something special from some of her most loved memories. Since moving to a modern house many of her collections had been banished to storage and she wanted to have an acknowledgement to this side of her personality.

To say this took a long time would be an understatement as there was so much material…it just kept coming and developing. There was no rush which was so helpful and I spoke to her daughters who had their opinions about the contents too. So at the end of the day, it was a group project that kept us all engaged for a year!

We sourced each object together, making replicas of items that needed to be copied.  First designer-sighted sunglasses, family photos, knickerbocker glory, a handwritten poem, specific makeup, favourite champagne, and perfume.  There was no more personal sculpture, gift or memorable piece of artwork and Belinda was thrilled with the result.
