The “Amanda” – Commission Artbag “those shoes!”

Marietta Commission Artbag

£15,000.00

This incredible Artbag resin sculpture was a commission for German journalist Marietta Westphal. It contains items that would commonly be found in her handbag, as well as objects that are of particular significance to her, including a press card, an old passport, a piece of the Berlin wall, Nivea Creme, her glasses and an old phone. The back features a letter ‘M’ for Marietta spelt out creating a gold chain (you can see this in the third picture). The piece also pays tribute to her love of Hermès, and artist Debra Franses has also a included a Small ‘Tangerine Dream’ Artbag as a gift to pay tribute to Marietta’s love of the iconic brand.

This piece is not for sale, but you can use it as inspiration for commissioning a bespoke Extra Large Artbag yourself.
